Guy, I do want to let you know how much I appreciate the results of the effort Pete and Steven put into my '73 Benz.
As Pete may have told you, I brought it in for an R134 freon conversion. During the course of the conversation, I mentioned to Pete that I also had a hot starting problem that none of the internet Benz experts had any idea how to fix. My problem was that I literally could not restart it when it was hot. I tried a few things myself like a fuel pressure regulator, but no luck whatsoever. But I told Pete we'd worry about that once the AC was cold again.
Next conversation I have with Pete, he tells me that Steven had broken the distributor down and traced the problem to the trigger points. Read more... Testimonial - Sandy
